“ Music playing on the piano, amazing smells, delicious coffee, & the most delicious beignets in New Orleans! They’re the size of your face! Bring your appetite, lean over while eating and be prepared to clean up after if you wear black! Lol. Love this place! A few locations in NOLA. I believe they blow the other top beignet competitors out of the water. Get there 3-5 minutes before they open if possible. Went on a Friday morning and there was a line all day as we passed by/returned. Lovely experience always! ”

“ I’ll probably get some criticism for this, but I’m not a fan of beignets. I’m not really into donuts either, so that might be why they’re just not for me. However, I did take a chance on the crawfish & grits—and I highly recommend them! The place has a unique atmosphere with a self-playing piano, plenty of extra seating both inside and outside, and a charming little stand selling postcards and praline pecans. Don’t be surprised to see a few sparrows flying in and out, picking up crumbs from the floor—it just adds to the charm. The service is great, especially for someone like me who wasn’t familiar with much of the menu. The staff were friendly, patient, and happy to make recommendations. ”
“ This line was long but moved fairly quickly. The seating is very close and tables are small so larger groups beware. The food was amazing though. I had the western omelette and added bacon. It was a little on the smaller side but it was tasted great. It came with grits and garlic buttery toast. The grits were cooked to perfection and the toast melted in your mouth. Very delicious! My husband had the signature breakfast with scrambled eggs bacon and the toast. We also had an order of the beignets. They were absolutely delicious. Made fresh to order and was definitely worth the wait. ”

So we decided to fuel up before a morning of exploring the French Quarter by grabbing some coffee and beignets. The large pecan carmel beignet were definitely an upgrade to the classic beignets we are accustomed to and definitely worth a try. The classic beignets were good as well. The beignets were large and served cold not hot like other places. The hot and iced coffees were a really nice compliment to the beignets. ”
“ This restaurant has a home feel to it. There is a piano that play music while you enjoy your meal. The employees were very nice and everything was made fresh. I ordered a crawfish omelette, that came with grits, and a piece of bread. I also ordered a side of bacon. My friend ordered eggs, potatoes, caramel beignets, and an iced coffee. We both liked our orders. The beignets are much better here than they are at cafe du monde. The beignets here come with a sauce and nuts if you if you want them. They were delicious!!! This place also has a full breakfast menu, which is another bonus! ”

Shockingly they were cheaper than some of the places I tried but larger compared to other ones as well. They're a must-try if you're looking for beignets! ”
